Over the 12 weeks of Accelerator, I started things I would never have attempted before because I had the fear of there being so many elements which I would never get finished. In particular, it has really helped me figure out that I could just have an accountancy firm website, but I could also have a website showing I’m much more than that.
It was always a lovely end to a Thursday: I always went home after the session feeling quite chilled, empowered, and ready to take on the world.”
Accelerator helped me learn the skill of digging underneath the surface problem to get to the real issues my clients are facing. I never would have got this far with my marketing – I just didn’t understand it and what you don’t understand, you are scared of. Confidence in marketing is a huge thing and I feel a lot more confident now.
In fact, Accelerator has made me more confident as a business owner full stop. I’m still learning and I don’t think that will ever stop. Going through Accelerator has cemented what I need to do next, and taught me how to use all of this in my marketing.
Without Accelerator, I might have gotten to the same place but over a much longer period of time. I could see it taking three years or more to maybe to get there… and maybe I wouldn’t have anyway, just kept going in circles.
It has caused me to ask, Who am I actually? Do I truly feel comfortable being the way I am? Am I living up to my values, or am I still trying to portray another image? Am I paying tribute to my beliefs?
It really is such good value for money – because knowledge stays with you forever.
If you’re thinking about doing the Accelerator course…just do it. I thought it was absolutely brilliant and light years ahead of where it was last time I did Accelerator. And that doesn’t mean I didn’t think it was good before, I thought it was brilliant before. It’s very crisp, very experienced, very well organised, very confident, very humble at the same time so you’re not coming across like a know-it-all yet you are authoritative and the expert. I really felt the balance of it all. Very calm yet passionate, knowledgeable, just ticks all the boxes. I was really, really impressed…especially as you know I’ve heard this stuff from you and from others already, I already knew a lot of the books and the websites you showed us…and yet I was still highly engaged for the whole hour of the live sessions. The timing was great. I was concerned at one point, is there a lot more to go and are you going to run over but clearly I should have known better. You are exceptionally organised and it ran beautifully to time. I think an hour is perfect. Any more than that, especially at this time of day, I think would start to tire a bit. You didn’t overhang any points too long or too short, it was just right, just beautiful. Off the back of it, I feel energised, I feel clear about what I’m going to do next, I feel organised in that you’ve got your incredible workbook that I’m conscious a lot of years of experience has been put into it. I think everyone on Accelerator is in exceptionally good hands.
