Since the beginning of my career, I have been immersed in the field of communications. Whether serving as a customer service representative, product specialist, or marketing professional, my fascination with the nuances of how people communicate has always driven me.
Over my 25+ year career, I’ve been fortunate and observant enough to gain insights into various aspects of business. From purchasing and stock control to sales, credit control, and HR, these experiences have enhanced my ability to develop marketing strategies that address real business challenges. Since 2020, I have focused exclusively on transforming accountants and bookkeepers into industry leaders, using my experience and insights to help them stand out in a crowded market and attract energising clients.
Through my work, I realised that accountants needed more than just advice on what to do; they required a partner who truly understood their unique challenges and could offer actionable, personalised guidance. My mission evolved to not only strategise but also actively support clients in implementing effective marketing and business strategies, drawing on my experience in counselling to uncover hidden blocks and resistance. (Marketing therapy is a real thing).
I’ve had the privilege of speaking at industry events such as Accountex and DAS, and have been featured on podcasts like Ask the Expert and Digital Disrupters. I also host a podcast called Accountants Are Sexy.
Outside of work, I am often found at a festival, gig, theatre, or on top of a mountain, creating memories for my family and striving to make the most out of life.
