OUTSOURCED MARKETING

MARKETING DONE, EACH MONTH

You’ve got plenty of marketing ideas, but need supporting getting the work done. Or you want to have someone to bounce all your amazing ideas off of.

By outsourcing, your marketing actually happens, and you can choose how much support you need on a monthly basis, and also bolt-on extras for website management and lead generation. Scroll for more detail!

BEFORE YOU LEAP IN…

It’s easy to want to dive straight into outsourcing all the things, but our experience is that by simply leaping in, there’s no strategy behind it.

Instead, your marketing works so much better when you’ve addressed a foundational element. That could be your brand, website, marketing plan or even training.

To help you get that focus, we created workshops that help you look at those in more detail: Your audience, their issues, your niche and so on, so that you’re ready to look at outsourcing marketing.

STEP 1: CO-PILOT AND TRACKING

Outsourcing your marketing is no good if you don’t have monthly accountability and direction, just like the analogy of leaping into outsourced marketing with no strategy.

As part of your package, you’ll have a monthly co-pilot call with your client manager with a strategy call with Karen every 4-6 months.

In these calls you’ll look at the key analytics and metrics we’ve agreed to track and look for patterns. It’s important to do this to see how your marketing is working on a broader scale.

The call is also an opportunity to discuss any marketing actions you’re working on and get support or direction on any of your marketing.

STEP 2: MONTHLY CREDITS

Instead of having a fixed “one blog a month, one page a month and so on”, the credits give you flexibility to decide what content and design items you want to work on from one month to the next.

You choose what’s the best use of your credits each month. Prefer to write your own blogs? No problem – you can use credits to tidy them up or design an image for them. Got a guide you want to publish and you’ve written the content? Great – we’ll take care of the design.

You can also bolt-on more credits for a month or several months if needed. For example, if you have an event you’re running and need some extra marketing done, you can use your monthly credits for your foundational marketing and bolt-on credits for a few months to work on the event marketing.

The choice is literally yours with how they are spent!

HOW MANY CREDITS DO I NEED?

The minimum number of credits on a monthly basis is 10. Each credit is worth £95, and most of the firms who work with us have somewhere between 12 and 20 credits a month on top of bolt-ons.

What we’ve found is anything less than 10 and you’re going to struggle with getting enough traction with your marketing and you’ll lose focus and motivation. So think of it as the more credits you have, the more opportunity you have to create content.

We’ve put a page together with examples of content to give you an idea of how many credits you might need.

STEP 3: WEBSITE MAINTENANCE

When you’re working with us on a monthly basis to get your custom content actioned, bolting on website maintenance makes perfect sense.

This bolt-on gives us access to the back-end of your website so that we can take care of everything from posting blogs, sourcing imagery, SEO, website edits, and anything else you might need. We also carry out regular updates each month to plug-ins, etc so that your website remains secure and up-to-date.

Having the bolt-on also keeps all-things marketing with one team, rather than dealing with any back and forth. We have two packages available: Unlimited and Fair Use.

STEP 4: SOCIAL MEDIA

Now that your marketing is getting done and the ideas are flowing, it’s time to showcase that and tell your audience about it. That’s where social media comes in.

The social media packages cover everything from set up and daily posting to lead generation adverts. You can also choose to do-it-yourself and simply get some training from our Social Media Director, Ashley Davis.

WHAT’S THE COMMITMENT?

For the Co-Pilot Call and monthly credits, the minimum commitment is 12 months.

This is so that you have enough time to get your foundational content ticking away each month, as in our experience it takes a good 12 months to really get things going.

Think about the best relationships you have with your clients. You don’t just build those in a matter of weeks. It’s a long game, and you want to think of your marketing in the same way.

Our bolt-ons work on a minimum commitment of 6-months, with everything requiring a 30-day notice period if you wish to cancel.

TRUE MARKETING IS A PARTNERSHIP

Using your credits aren’t simply about handing over your marketing to us. The best results are when we’re working together, which is why we view the monthly package as a partnership. With that in mind, you can expect:

MONTHLY CALL AND DISCUSSION

Armed with your credits, you’ll meet with your client manager each month. Once you’ve discussions the metrics being tracked, you’ll spend the call allocating your credits for that month based on all the amazing ideas you have.

WORK IS ASSIGNED

Following the call, the work is assigned throughout the PF team and completed to deadline. You’ll receive updates in Basecamp as work is progressing and if there is anything required from you.

REVIEW AND CHANGES

Once a first draft has been completed, we’ll send it to you to review. This will be done through Basecamp so you have an opportunity to discuss any changes you want making to the next draft. We usually agree up to 2 rounds of revisions so that nothing is held up.

APPROVAL

Once you’re happy and you’ve approved the final version, everything will be sent to you. It’s yours for the taking – shout about it on social, send it to clients, upload it to your website… let the world see the amazing content you’re producing.
