HOW IT WORKS

7 STAGE HIRING PROCESS

The PF hiring process has been exclusively built for us, by us. The PF pillars and values are the driving force behind it, and those who become part of the team combine both skills and values. Yes, you’ll be skilled in doing the creative work: you’ll also show a pattern of living out the values in everything you do and say. The hiring process helps us decide if you’re the person for this place, and it helps you decide if we’re the place for you as a person.

THE 7 STAGES EXPLAINED

STAGE ONE:

VIDEO SUBMISSION

You submit a 3-minute video to introduce yourself to the team, explain what role you’re applying for and why.

STAGE FIVE:

REFERENCE REQUESTS

We have an online form asking questions about how you live out the values by which we stand. The form will be sent to three different people who know you well, ideally two will be an employer or client.

STAGE TWO:

EVALUATION BY THE TEAM

The whole PF team will review and discuss your video. Once all comments have been shared, we will review them and decide whether to move you to the next stage.

STAGE SIX:

VALUE FIT ANALYSIS

This is a self-assessment so you can tell us how well you feel you fit the values. Based on the results of this and the references, we will all decide whether you move to the final stage.

STAGE THREE:

TESTER PROJECT

This project is based on an actual client or the type of work you will be doing, and varies depending on the role you’re applying for. (The project is for internal use only and will not be used or shared without your permission.) You’ll receive an explanation video with accompanying files and the information you need to work on it. You will receive a deadline for submission and after you’ve sent it back, the team will review your project and vote whether to move you to the next stage.

STAGE SEVEN:

INTERVIEW WITH THE OWNER

This is an in depth interview with our owner, Karen. You’ll discuss what we’re offering, what our salary ranges are, what the job entails and what you’re expected to do.

STAGE FOUR:

GROUP VIDEO CALL ON ZOOM

This is our equivalent to hanging out with you in a coffee shop or at the pub. It’s an opportunity for us to meet you and ask you some prepared questions depending on the role you’ve applied for. After the call, we’ll let you know if you’ve been moved on to the next stage.
